My Story

I have been an avid crappie fisherman for over 25 years. I have fished all over Alabama and Mississippi. I started off fishing with my dad and I still do to this day. I will do an occasional guided trip, but I enjoy taking my close friends fishing with me. I currently fish mostly the Alabama and Tombigbee River systems which offers a variety of different water clarities and different set ups for catching crappie. Whether it is muddy water tree tops on the Tombigbee, open water fish in clear water, or ledges on the stained water of the Alabama, I fish it. I understand color varieties and different techniques in different situations. One day one I told one of my friends that I needed to order more jigs and he said "why don't you just start tying them yourself?". So that's what I did. I started doing it just for myself, but I decided to branch out and see where it goes. I would love to help you catch more fish!
